I am starting to use CFX 5.7 but i have a big problem: i don't have a program to do the modeling and meshing! Could you guys tell me what programs you are using.

You can use solidwrks 2004 it's an easy cad software and it comes with strong tutorial

CFX should come with a modelling and meshing package, mine did : :lol:

I tried CFX first, but found it to be a pretty crappy, albeit an extremely userfriendly, program.
The problem was untegration with products other than ansy's own.
I just couldn't be bothered to try and learn to use it properly, so I went for Gambit and Fluent instead. Or at least I'm trying to learn to use fluent, but using it requires a little more than just the few clicks of the mouse cfx does, so it could be said I'm still trying to learn. :wink:

I found fluent fair easier then CFX. Its well known in industry that CFX solver is very sluggish and not as small PC friendly as fluent
