If you look at the reasons why DRS was introduced, then it's raisin d'être will have been nullified by 2014.
Cars have an over reliance on aero, and the DRS is there to give the disadvantaged car behind a chance of an overtake. We aren't talking 2 seconds a lap quicker, but usually around 0.5 to 1 second.
This time difference is what accounted for the Trulli train phenomena...
However with uber skinny front wings from 2014, and a proposed emphasis on the mechanical side of the sport, DRS place seems somewhat redundant.
