Flavio Briatore has taken on additional responsibilities in running the Renault F1 team. For the past year, the Italian has been Managing Director of the UK side of the operation based in Enstone. Now, he also takes on the role of MD for the French half of the team based in Viry-Chatillon. Last year, Jean-Jacques His filled that post, but the brains behind the Renault V10 is now free to concentrate on engine design and development, leaving Briatore to handle the management and logistics side of the entire operation.
