This is something that appeared today on our local Gazzetta dello Sport newspaper and even reported by the italian website http://www.omnicorse.it/
The solution has been seen in the recent tests of Abu Dhabi reserved for young drivers.
An idea that will certainly stir up the Circus in the next days.
If you look at the drawing from Giorgio Piola you will notice
that the push-rod suspension arm is not directly fixed to the wheel hub,
but there's an interesting mechanism with a possible "game" of a few millimeters.
Lotus-Renault would be able to lift the front end of the car during the delicate phase of braking,
preventing the front wing to crawl on the asphalt, providing the ideal ride height for maximum aerodynamic stability
in a crucial area of the car that affects load and efficiency of the rest.
It would be perfectly legal because it does not work with an electronic control but it would be managed by the driver.
Probably there's a a pump integrated in the arm that functions in parallel to the brake-balance commands.
