Danny Nowlan wrote a book (the guy who invented ChassisSim) called The dynamics of the race car.. have any of you read that book?

Do you know how it compares with Milliken's RCVD? Should I read both, or they're "the same".


Im interested in Danny Nowlan's book since I like his articles on Racecar Engineering magazine.

Any input is much appreciated.


BTW, I've already read Tune to win and tires suspension and handling.

I've read it cover to cover and it's the most comprehensive look at modern race car dynamics I've come across. It also goes into aero stuff in detail as well as other avenues like differentials. The chapter on tyres is worth the price of the whole book.

All in all it's a well integrated look at the big picture of a race car.
