With the centreline of the front wing now of no use to man or beast... and this low nose crap.
Would it pay the teams to have inboard front brakes?
Pros:
- it would clear additional area between wheels and nose.
- it would reduce unsprung mass.
- you have another shalf for re-alignment of the frong wing wake.
- it would also mean brake duct gases interfere much less with flow from the front wing endplates to diffuser.
Cons:
- Additional weight of 'drive' shafts.
- The driver might get brake dust in his face more often.
- The brake dust might be ingested into the engine if the vent was not carefully designed.
