This is just mesmerizing to watch. Choose original size and zoom in, pretty remarkable how the light sources (cities etc) are linked and looks almost identical to what you will find in the brain or in the Universe.

I can honestly say i over-estimated the excitement of having pictures of our home

But, i´m a bit confused regarding the "connection" there with the brain, universe and regular cities.

It´s the same with looking at a freeway at night, red blood cells go one direction, white anti-bodies go the other.
maybe that isn´t the real mechanics behind it but it does really look like a blood stream where blood is flowing to the important parts of the "body" or planet in this case.
