What they will do to increase audience?
Maybe the general public, not being car junkies just got tired of non road car related racing?
While big, F1 audience isn't big enough given the huge expenses involved.
Small F1 teams are complaining sponsors aren't too willing to provide the top money they once did.
Thats because small teams get no air time cause small teams most of the time are back of the grid. And the economy is a huge factor in all this, no one today except perhaps oil companies and tobacco companies can spend huge loads of cash, and only one of them are allowed and we see one in F1 which is PDVSA.
And speaking of F3 in the title, if your country has a guy in F3 tv channels will more likely buy it and show it, thats the case here in sweden, they bought DTM and got F3 aswell since they share weekends, and since we have swedish presence in both series its a growing market among racefans and other just sport intrested ppl, cause its going well for the F3 guy.
Also sweden is a good example for another thing, back in the early 90s and 80s, you couldnt even see live F1 on swedish television eventho we had a swede in it, so things do rly change, but the big markets are America and Asia, and we have conquerd Asia alrdy and are now coming back to America.
