Too many unnecessary new topics with common themes (for my taste). All of these could be fitted in one hypothetical topic about F1.

Maybe things need to be placed in perspective.
Both karts and Formula One cars are racing vehicles, but very, very far apart. Each has their place, and use. A person beginning (road) racing usually starts in a kart, and as they develop and improve, move up in professionalism and performance. Karts come in various levels of complexity and difficulty, from automatic clutches to manual gearboxes, and quite quick speeds. But usually, once an aspiring racer reaches a certain level in karts, they move on to lower level formula cars, like Formula Ford. And the progression keeps happening, from lower performance formula cars to GP2, and eventually, the top of the mountain, Formula One Cars.
Each progression places more demands on a driver, they have to master more and more skills, each difficult and unforgiving. And in the end, only the best of the very best get to Formula One, the summit of the motor racing world.
A kart is a relatively simple machine, even though many skilled people are able to tune and tweak them to quite respectable levels of performance. But a Formula One car is a totally different beast, very complex, and very quick. It takes hundreds of people to properly design, assemble, and race a Formula One car. It also takes a huge amount of money to properly race one too.
So although a kart is cool, and fun to race, it's very far removed from a Formula One car, and to speculate on a hybrid is a very far flight of imagination and fancy.
