1995 Footwork-Arrows

Post

i stumbled upon this picture of a 1995 footwork [Taki's].

i noticed the front wing and aero wings to the tub at the suspension section, i've never seen this before.

Image

is there any information about this wing setup? benefits? legality?

the wings at the wheels/suspension manage the wheel wake coming from the front wheels. This directs the wake outwards and away from the floor. Back then, this area was much more open but also much less developed.

The front wing would have significantly less drag, but that's about it. But seeing the cars in the box, it seems to me like the end plates and flaps aren't mounted yet.

ok thanks, yeah i thought about that aswell, not yet being mounted, but since it seems these suspension wings/bargeboards aren't mounted on the other cars in the back, i started thinking it might be a 'test' and wondered if somebody perhaps recalls this.
