What are those vents for?!

Post

I would first like to start by saying that I have been visiting this site almost daily for about a month now and I really enjoy it!

But the reason for the post is these new vents that have appeared on the nose of many of the '06 chassis. I can't figure out their purpose, I apologize if I missed this topic earlier. The only conclusion I can gather is that they are for cooling the shocks, or the tanks of fluid that can be seen when the nose cone is removed.

Those vents are there to keep the driver's cool. It can really get sweaty at times, hence the air passing through those vents help cool them down.

That air still has to go somewhere though, it doesn't just disappear.

The cabin area is a 'low-pressure' zone, so it would exit right in front of the driver. I'm sure it helps cool him down.
I love to love Senna.
