Hi guys,
I'll soon be involved in implementing the support for direct injection in our company's ECU. I'd like to better understand the process, especially the requirements for the control strategy: number of injection pulses in a cylinder / cycle, relationship between the duration of these pulses, gap between pulses and so on.
Could anyone recommend some good learning resources (books, articles) on this subject, something appropriate for a person with a general understanding of how engines work?
