I think so too, hard to bet against MM but my gut feeling says one of the Yamaha boys will win the title.

I think Ducati will also be regular contenders at the front too.

M.M. just collected his 2nd Championship from 2 attempts, & won a record 13 races to boot.. ..a fine effort..

..Team Yamaha riders will have to demonstrate a serious & sustained improvement to beat Marc for the 2015 title,
..if he is to beaten on his merits, & not by some disaster..

But just how Dani keeps his place in the Honda factory team.. ..with his results.. ..is really incredible..
Maybe - sooner than later - another Marquez bro will wrest from Dani - the coveted Honda factory team ride?

How does the old saying go.. "If you are on the crapper - do the business - or get off the bloody crapper"..
"Well, we knocked the bastard off!"

Lots of exciting pairings to look forward to. Will be interesting watching CC vs. Miller, Laverty vs. Hayden, Aleix vs. Maverick, Bradl vs. Baz and finally the 2 Andys at Ducati duke it out.

Ianone fan checking him, really like the way when he was racing against MM this year he gave no quarter unlike other riders. Like Dovi too though. Heck I like most of the riders  ....apart from Miller

Is the ECU software really such a performance differentiator? It would seem like having free engine development, more fuel per race and more engines per season would be a much larger performance advantage.

I believe Miller will ride the Open Honda bike.. Still, it will be interesting to see how much faster it's going to be compared to the 2014 one.

I cant give you a straight answer, but the fact that there is a concerted effort by the front teams to develop their software makes me think that the benefit must be worth chasing. I expect fuel saving is one of those given that front teams have a something like 4kg per race than the other bikes.

Thanks for the season overview with technical overview Jimclarkfan.
I'll be gunning for Miller being an Ozlander myself, but really the fight will be Pedrosa vs Marquez again.

What fight?
13 rounds-to-1 aint no fight..

HRC tried real hard to get Casey Stoner back - to provide some real Team Honda competition..

I heard Casey said he'd race again.. ..if he could ride a 2-stroke..

Business as usual for Marquez although the differences are really small, 21st is 1.3 secs behind Marquez!

The ducatis look very fast over a lap, especially with the softer tires. Will be interesting to see how many laps they can stay ahead of the factory boys in the race.
I still think MM93 will take the championship. Unless the Yamahas solve their problem with the 2014-2015 tires and/or Dani finally finds some groove.
