Flexi-fuel Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren cars to follow?

While money spent in fuel is not important for (wealthy) Ferrari, Lamborghini and McLaren owners I think there's some media pressure as not to portray their companies as environmentally insensitive or something.
Therefore we got Ferrari, McLaren, Porsche hybrid supercars.

Will flexi-fuel (ethanol) sports cars follow?
I heard that current ethanol-gasoline fuel mixture sensors aren't accurate enough to be used in hi-power cars. Is it true?
Will such an incorrect fuel air mixture lead to nasty polluting, backfiring, or even engine damage when demanding high power from them?

How much of the hybridisation is down to fuel economy? Not much, I'd wager. F1 cars are hybrids. WEC are hybrids. They're the fastest racing cars in the world, so supercars should be aligned, right? That's a marketing thing. Also, there are tax incentives for lower emission vehicles. In the UK, low emission vehicles are eligible for 100% write down allowances (essentially a ~20% discount on the list price) and company car benefit is based on a percentage of the list price from 0% for low emission vehicles to 35% for high emission vehicles (that's a difference of £35kpa for an earner in the top tax bracket for a BMW i8 versus a Ferrari 458).

Exactly. Thankfully this is a "mathematically" unstable situation so it can't remain like this forever...
