what does this article means in F1 technical reg?

i would like please to know what does it means when they say in article 3.12.7 of the F1 technical regulations "device referred to in article 5.16" ?


now when u check article 5.16 i don't see that it talks about any device here ! help please

This is referring to the external starter.
But I think you mixed two older versions of the rules.

But it is interesting, that in the 2015 rules are not governing the starter hole.
Isn´t there any one any longer?

no i didn't mix, i am using the technical reg of 2012 with their appendix

well the 5.16 article doesnt refer to any device
btw i tried other versions all are the same !! how is that !?!

It should be 5.18 and that is indeed the starter.
