If a car finishes classified, but then crashes during the cool-down lap, is it weighed nevertheless (as the regulations prescribe)? And if yes, how can it be done? Are all the detached bits and pieces collected from the ground? What if the crash has caused fluid leaks?

i believe they take it into account. they weight the car before it goes out as long as lost parts can be accounted for there should't be any issue. would be interested to know how tight the fia are on the weight of the car.

This actually happened at Malaysia last year (2017) so you could just look to that race as an example
