BTW- Nichael Schumacher is watching F1 races together with Jean Todt.
Don't get your hopes up for even a second.
I have had the unfortunate 'privilidge' to see my father suffer near or actually identical brain injury as Michael Schumacher, and can tell you just how horrible those injuries are and in what shape and state they can leave somebody in. I hope honest to God that Michael's injuries are less, but i actually feel like they're the same. Claims that he is in a wheelchair unlike my father was, actually indicate Michael might be in a worse condition even. My father passed away in december at the age of 67, after infections and complications which can be indirectly attributed to the injuries. My father was a shim from what he was, he could walk -barely- and more or less talk "communicate" but it was very hard for him, and quite honesty, it never made any sense, he could not make fully coherent sentences, he couldn't remember what he said or where he was longer than 10 minutes, he never understood what was going on, and he was clearly - and it has been a heartbreaking sight and experience for 3 years - sad, depressed and lost inside a damaged shell.
i can tell you one thing guaranteed and i am 100% sure the same goes for Schumacher, as much as i'd like to see different as no man should suffer these things - but it is
inhuman and very much
degrading.
i too have watched Formula 1 races with my dad, one of his few and great passions, as he never missed to see a single grand prix, after the accident. but he did not see it out of pleasure, he did not see it out of enjoyment, he did not even really followed it, he just stared and 'sat through the ordeal', which even such a thing, honest to God, is and was. So i did not watch the Full GP with him, as it's inhuman to treat people like that.
Again, i repeat, it were 3 whole, inhuman, degrading, painful years.
It is with immense pain in my heart and my mind to say that i am glad that he passed away, even though even that went in a disturbing fashion, but i am very much glad to say he literally passed away in my arms and i actually have a few tears flowing down my cheeks writing that i saw in his eyes, in his powerless hands and arms to feel and notice fully that he knew and felt he died and he was 'content' with passing. You could say, 'safe' in my arms.
I will carry this painful sentiment for the rest of my life,
and i can say one thing,
i am very, very sad to see Schumacher in such a state. Anybody really, but i only know of Schumacher.
People saying he is 'in good hands' is true, as was the same for my father, but that does not change the horror that is life like that. It is almost a torture, perhaps it actually even is.
It is also far from the person Schumacher is in shape and spirit, it's undeserving and again, inhuman and degrading.
I pray that there will NEVER ever come out a photograph and i also hope Schumacher will find peace and comfort and painlessly will come to pass, in his sleep. Schumacher died when he hit that rock. That's the sad, tragic thing about all of this.
So to come out of all of this, i must say, i feel both sorry but also have great respect for Mick Schumacher, to compete and perform like this whilst confronted with such a certainly similar situation, as i have seen.
Don't get your hopes up from some claim about watching F1.
In all grim reality, it is Jean Todt watching F1 and Schumacher locked in a damaged, malfunctioning shell just sitting next to him. unvoluntary. and his responses read as 'emotional' and 'positive' by some doctor, who honest to god, doesn't really know squad as the absolute fact is, that these brain traumas and injuries are where they completely walk in the dark, and do nothing but speculate and make up things along the way. Believe me, i have been there. They know
nothing more than you or me, except for one thing - and that is for the actual surgery of brain (damage). which is why they are respected and earn so much and are important. But after the surgery, it is a huge, black, empty, hole.
