To me most of them if not all of them are exciting in the sense of intrigue or interest. The problem is LibertyTM, Brawndo and Netflix want to define what exciting means. This brings elements of the contrived into the sport. Fake passing, spec car shapes, spec car parts, obsessing over viewership and profit instead of the competition. Which has led to Euro 6 for the racetrack. Makes no sense from a sporting standpoint.
Some teams, some participants, may want that. Want to be in a CarOfTommorrowTM with as many cameras and eyes on them as possible. But much of motorsport exists without too earnest of an interest in who's watching.
