McLaren wings

Post

Only now I noticed that Raikkonen's wings are pretty different from de la Rosa's. Anybody now if it's a new development (maybe parallel, maybe next year) ? I'm searching for last races photos and I can't find one like de la Rosa is using at Hungaroring.
Last weekend Raikkonen said that the great responsible for McLaren better performance was the front wing, so I guess they may be trying a lot of things in this area.

Mclaren Wings

Post

I think the wing De La Rosa is using appeared since Monaco, JPM used this wing on various grand prixs, it seems Kimi didn't felt comfortable with it and so he remained using the "old" wing, now Kimi's wing is a combination of both development models. I guess Mclaren thought they've got nothing to lose so they're trying out different things for next season for quite a while now.

the wing is a new update that pedro chose to use. kimi said he was accustomed to the old one better and that it was more consistent so he used that one
