Guys i need some advice

Post

I need some advice on what could be a life changing decision.

I've suspected for some time now that my gf has been cheating on me. The usual signs. Phone rings, I answer, someone hangs up.

She started going out 'with the girls from work a lot recently although when I ask which girl it is always "Just some friends from work, you don't know them".

I always look out for her taxi coming home but she always walks down the driveway and I can hear a car driving off like she got out of the car round the corner. Why?

The other day I picked her cellphone just to see what time it was, she went ballistic and screamed that I should never touch her phone again and why was I checking up on her?

Anyway, I have never approached the subject with Kelly. I think deep down I just didn't want to know the truth but last night she went out again and I decided to check on her.

I decided I was going to hide behind the backside of my boat (backed into the driveway) which would give me a view of the whole street so I could see which car she gets out of.

It was while I sat crouched behind my boat, I noticed a large chip in the prop.

But anyway... onto the advice...

Should I buy new prop or just have this one fixed?
I could do Stainless as well

I'm so confused.

I just don't know what to say...

Why, why, why?

There should be a section on the forum 'wags'

To me that looks more like husband-wife kind of situation. I mean, you got to ask yourself why is she as a free person spending any time with you at all if she doesn't like you anymore?

I mean I've been trought that... I was used by girl I loved... common story. I know its hard but you got to sort that out. In my case she was with me becasue I had job and more money than boy she was trully in love with. You got find out where is she going and why is she coming back to you.

Prop can be fixed easily but if you're using boat for some serious seas than I'd take no chace and buy new one (I'd sleep better knowing that).

I'd get rid of the damaged goods, and get a new one. (once it has shown signs of damage, you can never trust it again) and it could fail you at the worse moment, leaving you to drown in your own misery. Even if you try to patch things up, there will always be hidden cracks and suspected flaws.
Oh yea, I'd get a new prop too.

The funniest post I 've read a while.
Long experience has taught me this about the status of mankind with regards to matters requiring thought. The less people know and understand about them, the more positively they attempt to argue concerning them; while on the other hand, to know and understand a multitude of things renders men cautious in passing judgement upon anything new. - Galileo..

Excellent preamble  but on to the advice:

We ran Ali props for years and had them repaired as and when required, without problems. However, we switched to a Stainless one which was much better, but although they are signigicantly more robust they do cost more to repair if you do hit something :?

You know, flyn, when a crack is open in such an important piece of your love boat, there is only one remedy: you better screw it (off) and close it, using the best part of your abilities. If the damn part is open for anyone to see, you better shut it close as fast as you can. You take your welding apparatus and make some sparks fly... And of course, if you have to replace it, look for a part without stains. I'll go with stainless any time.

Good joke but if it were true i would...

Sell the boat and boot your GF out and the money from the boat and the money you have saved by not having a GF, blow it on a caterham or supercharge ariel atom. Buy a full driving suit, boots and helmet, and then wring the cars arse out on A roads and track days.

You would smile alot more often...

I was reading the problems with girlfriend part until my supervisor came by, so I didn't know it was a joke about the boat.

I thought that she broke the piece off (or whoever she was seeing) and planned to shank you with it... but that's just my imagination going haywire.
