It just feels like they're trying to do too much. The sidepods and coke-bottle are too sculpted, the front wing is too wavy, the mirror pylons have too many vortex generators when cleanest airflow is the consensus. The sidepods are exagerated at the rea with the double ridge. Mclaren has this feature. The purpose may be to direct some of thr air in the gullies outward towards the rear wheels?
