Since Spanish GP the R27 has a midwing.

Renault R27 had the midwing in Spain , Monaco , Magny Cours , Nurburgring , Hungary . It was not used in Australia , Malaysia , Bahrain , Canada , USA , Silverstone . Renault R26 on the contrary did not use midwing in all races in 2006

and the indy fins are pointed out by the red circle , similar ones with R26, main flip with double profile and a lower smaller fin

As long as i can remember the first team to introduce indy fins in Formula 1 was Ligier JS43 in 1996 . Please correct me if i make a mistake

I really do not know why R27 is so slow but i think the main problem is the use of the new Bridgestone tyres .
I post a board that shows the lap times between R27 and R26 in Monaco (The slowest track with high downforce demands) and Canada (A fast track with low downforce demands) compared to those of Mc Laren and Ferrari . It clearly shows that Mc Laren and Ferrari managed to fill the gap in track times better than Renault , especially in low downforce tracks .

There are some basic visual differences between R27 and R26 such as the airbox inlet , the exhausts , the mirrors ,the sidepot boumerang aero elements , T Wings , Wheel rim , Midwing , fatter nose cone end

I thought the indy fins were actually called flip-ups?

The lost of time in the R27 all stems from the Bridgestone tyres. If you see they are the only team not running a Zero keel/Twin Keel design. Also the R26 was the best car suited to the Micheln's out of any team, so they lost the most when they switched over to the Bridgestones and it takes time to get the performance back.
Simon: Nils? You can close in now. Nils?
John McClane: [on the guard's phone] Attention! Attention! Nils is dead! I repeat, Nils is dead, ----head. So's his pal, and those four guys from the East German All-Stars, your boys at the bank? They're gonna be a little late.
Simon: [on the phone] John... in the back of the truck you're driving, there's $13 billon dollars worth in gold bullion. I wonder would a deal be out of the question?
John McClane: [on the phone] Yeah, I got a deal for you. Come out from that rock you're hiding under, and I'll drive this truck up your ass.
