Webber on how the RBR is coming together

Post

Mark Webber discusses

the design philosophy of his team (and Adrian Newey's) in vague but interesting terms. Perhaps worth a read if you want to correlate developments during and after this season with what he's saying in the Autosport article "Webber hails Red Bull's progress (link)".

I would relate the late development and understanding of the model with the fact that RBR has been the only team starting 2007 season with a car made from a clean sheet.

Also, I would suggest that the relative performance increase in the latter part of the season may not be that positive in the long term: RBR is still evaluating development parts on their current contender (very much like Spyker is), while the other teams may be already putting them in the context of next year's car computer models.

Isn't the RA107 Honda a clean sheet too?? <- And an excellent example of how not to do it :D
