Earnhardt Jr. in F430 Vs Patrick in Zonda?

Post

m just curious about the abilities of both those cars on the twisty Monte carlo roads. are they really comparable? the F430 has only 490bhp against the gargantuan 600 of he Zonda F....both drop heads Jay Z's grammy nominated album's 'What you got'. Some people say the F430 is vry quick around twisty hair pin filled roads, but is it really quicker than the mighty Zonda F.

The F430 is much more comparable to the regular Zonda C12: The Stig hustled the F430 Spider round the Top Gear Test Track in 1:23.2 while the C12 lapped in 1:23.8. The Zonda F, however, blew them both away with a 1:18.4.

The track is pretty slow with a couple of higher speed sweeps:

Brilliant show that Top Gear is, by the way!
Ahhh, the most soothing, relaxing, and beautiful sound in the world. Looks cool too! http://youtube.com/watch?v=Eo-9Io41bt8

Yeah i have seen those two laps all right, butwhat i really wanna know is the comparative perf of those two around normal regular roads or alpine roads i.e. roads, for ex. the Evo thrashed the Impreza WRX STi arung the TG track but was beaten on normal roads of Scotland. The Zonda F is known to be a bit twitchy, whereas the F430 is brilliantly poised thanks to its 5-way TC.

i would say 430 Scuderia is a much more appropiate competitor for Zonda F which i believe 430 Scuderia has a great chance to win.

You don't need to get snappy and rude with me. Your broken english is as good as egyptian hieroglyphics before the rosetta stone, at best. And i'm sorry if i came off as rude in my original post, but i was trying to refrain from posting something that would be thought of as rude. I don't consider the two in the same category. Have a nice day!

Can you now post something that is relevant to the topic?

You might find this interesting ds.;

Top Gear took a Ford GT, an F430 and a Zonda to France. They drive them on mountain roads (in part 2/3 of 3 i think). Sure enough the Zonda proved to be a bit twitchy, while the F430 was in its element. The Zonda's probably a bit too wide with too much power to be agile around hairpin filled mountain roads.
Enjoy!
