Midwest Flooding

I felt I should post this since the media only likes to show the bad things.
My home state of Iowa is having the worst flooding ever recored.

The amount of help every one has provided is amazing
there are groups of prisoners standing next to national guards man and students to help build sand bag walls.

I just wanted to show the rest of the world that we are not like New Orleans
We have not shot at rescuers. When told to get out we did we didnt wait for the government to come save us. We are not looting ect.


My mother works for a phone company they are building telephone offices in the back of trucks to try to keep some phones working.


I feel proud to say this is where I come from =D>

Glad to hear things are going well for you up there. Well, up to me anyway! It's sad that people like that get almost no recognition but the ones who are really horrible and thankless get all the attention. Good luck!!
