how come anthony is setting fast laps and is easily the fastest speed setter of teh race till now while jenson and montoya are rather very low in the order?
do drivers conserve engine revs on friday?

The main reasons are for sure:
- Engine rpm not as restricted as those who do need the engine the entire weekend

- Cooling is also in race configuration. No extra cooling applied to save the engine, hence better aerodynamics.
