CN2 Cars Brakes

Post

Hi!

I am new of this forum and i found very interesting discussions here, so i decided tu put my question as well!

does anybody know what brakes dimensions and spec CN sport cars use? I mean all the cars running under CN FIA regulation like VdeV, Campionato Italiano Prototipi etc.
My question is above all focused on CN2 cars (Engine up to 2 liters, cars like Ligier and Norma).

I would expect them to use bigger brakes than a formula 3 because of their higher weight and similar performance, but i have seen on Ligier site that they claim to use brembo F3 brakes.

If not F3 brakes does anybody knows which kind of brakes they use?

Thanks!

for the Radical SR3 RS
# Radical four-pot calipers front and rear
# 260mm dia. 25mm, 30-vane ventilated discs front and rear
# Radical centre lock, cast aluminium wheels - 8" × 15" dia. front and 10½" × 16" dia. rears

seeing that the wheel/rims are larger then F3 15/16" vs. 13" using an F3 brake system, is maybe giving away some possible braking performance.
