Cream Tribute Band

Post

I have just been asked by Kofi Baker, Ginger Bakers son, if I can organise at least one gig for his Cream tribute band in the UK.
He already has some American dates arranged for next year. He lives in California.
Perhaps Bernie or Eddie Jordan might be interested in booking them on the F1 circus in 2011?
I organised a gig earlier this year in Norfolk UK and I can confirm that Kofi is an awesome drummer just like his old man, who I travelled across the Sahara with in 1976.

Bruce and Baker never get the props they deserve, all because of Clapton and his stupid wah pedal. Baker's even done well switching to straight-ahead jazz.

If you seriously need to find a gig for them you should look where other tribute bands play, they typically have a circuit they just run over and over. Examples are Dark Star Orchestra (Dead tribute band), Lez Zeppelin (all girls, all Zeppelin), and The Machine (Floyd tribute band).

I dont realy need to find any gig venues anywhere in Europe.
Kofi has just completed a world tour with Ned Evett and Malcome Bruce (Jacks son).
They played practicaly all the Countries in Europe covering 15,000 miles.
Ned Evett and Triple Double were the support band for Joe Satriani.

I was just hoping that the F1 circus might be interested, I believe Eric is involved in the musical support set up. Perhaps he might be interested in doing something with Kofi.
