Wheel centre lines

Post

Just spent 3 hours finishing off my floor, to find that my centre lines mean the car is not legal #-o

It won't be too difficult to repair once i get some good dimensions but I am just so stuck right now.

My dimensions were (measured from tip of the front wing) 1100mm (Front) and 4000mm (Rear). I am pretty happy with the rear as it works (my car is 4600mm long).

If any one could point me in the right direction, it would be much appreciated.

Re: Wheel centre lines

OK, I've temporarily fixed it, however, wheels are one of the heavy parts of the car, and as weight distribution is an increasingly important factor in 2011, I reckon wheel centre lines are an overlooked factor taken into account when designing a car.
As a temporary ammendment the wheel centre lines of my 2011 reg car are (all measurements taken from the tip of the front of the car, which is 0000mm)
Front Wheel Centre Line:1000mm
Start of Floor: 1330mm
Rear Wheel Centre line:4000mm (This line is also for end of floor and start and diffuser)
Tip of Rear Wing: 4600mm

Hope you can maybe shed light on optimums.
