Supercar from Slovenia

Post

manufacturer: Shayton model: Equilibrium

 http://www.shayton.eu/

V12, 1084 bhp, 930 Nm, over 400kph, a 0-100 under three seconds, 0-200 8.5 seconds, over 1 million euros, 15 cars per year + five special editions. Braking distance: 30.5m (100-0 km/h), lateral G-force: 1.6G, weight-to-power ratio: 1.42 kg/hp weight: 1200kg. Weight distribution in driving condition: 47% front, 53% rear downforce at 300 kph: 750 kg

I only think they've messed up with name since Shayton - a word that comes from the Sioux word for falcon (Chayton pronounced Shay-ton.) since Shaytan means Satan for Muslims. Having in mind that most of supercars end up in the garages of rich Arabs, I think they might have a problem since there is almost no difference when pronouncing Shayton and Shaytan (especially in imperfect English).

I like this much more than the Zonda (and many others) - much better proportions.

Nice looking car

For some reason the top & 3/4 views make the car look amazing, but something about the street-level views makes it less attractive to me.

That's a pretty funny screwup on the name. Reminds me of the less-emphatic problems of the Chevy Nova (no go) and the Ford Pinto (Brazilian slang for peni$).

Kurt

Since when did a 3d model, a copy of photoshop and some HTML qualify as a car company?

They don't even have a prototype, yet they're advertising 0-200 times. Good luck.

Is it? Under "Partners" it says they are looking for investors so that they can built a prototype. And the rest of the language on the site and their press release seems purposefully vague.

I am from Slovenia, and have to admit, that I didnt hear for this car till now and did a litle resrch. The car is in a proces of gethering funds for a prototyp. They are talking to three german manufacturers for the engine, and when they will choose one, they will get some other parts from it fot the first bunch of cars as well. The plan is to use a Nissan GTR chassis for the prototipe and the first bunch of cars, but to built everything but the engine and the gearbox in house later on.

Here is another Slovenian supercar, that is allready a reality.

The white one on the web (IMO) looks better than a zonda.

I'm sorry to be nitpicky but 1200kg/1084hp= 1.11kg/hp which is different from 1.42kg/hp. Which of the three is wrong, ratio power or weight?

I doubt a little about the interior
Come back 747, we miss you!!
