It appears that Sebastien Buemi is first in line to replace Sebastian Vettel at the Scuderia Toro Rosso. Not only for it talent, but also because the Faenza-based team seems to start a tradition of hiring seb's.
During the three-day Jerez test session, Buemi first tested for Toro Rosso before moving to the Red Bull cockpit today. Toro Rosso's team boss Franz Tost declared to the Swiss newspaper 'Le Matin': "Sebastien did an excellent job. We prepared him for a busy day of testing and he did what we expected from him. He completed great lap times and worked hard and devoted with our team. He worked well with the engineers and gave us good feedback.
"After what we've seen this week all we need is to find an experienced driver to support him and then I believe we can take the risk of lining up Sebastien in 2009. He has a lot of talent and he is part of the Red Bull family."
