French GP 'very unlikely' in 2009

It appears less and less likely that France will stage a Grand Prix during the 2009 Formula 1 season. While it has been widely known alternatives to Magny-Cours are under consideration, the French automobile federation has now confirmed a 2009 race will be unlikely.
Nicolas Deschaux of the French automobile federation stated: "There will probably not be a French Grand Prix in 2009".
Additionally, there is also doubt about 2010. According to the president of the French motorsport federation, out of all possible alternatives, the plans of a circuit at Disneyland Marne la Vallée are the only viable solution to host a French GP by that time.
Tickets for the 2009 French Grand Prix are, however, already on the market following a promotional street demo at Paris from Sebastien Bourdais.
