Hamilton tests subtle aero modifications at Jerez

With sunny blue skies and hot temperatures throughout the day, the McLaren team started its final test of the year with the weather perfectly replicating the conditions expected in Australia later this month. With Lewis Hamilton at the wheel, the day’s programme began with the evaluation of a number of new, subtle aerodynamic modifications. After lunch, Lewis ran a series of longer runs in order to assess the new aero package’s effectiveness on tyre degradation.
