Alonso believes FIA should listen to 'rebel' teams
Renault F1 Team driver Fernando Alonso believes that the FIA should listen to the wishes of the established Formula One teams. The Spaniard, whose own team threatened to leave the sport, declared at Monaco that he has sympathy for the position of the rebel teams.
Alonso said to the Spanish newspaper 'Diario AS': "What has made Formula One the spectacle it is are the great teams. For that reason it is not right to leave them to one side in favour of trying to get three new teams to come in."
