Force India $4.6 million richer after judge convicts Etihad

Yesterday a High Court judge ordered Etihad Airways and Aldar Properties to pay the Force India Formula One Team $4.6 million as a compensation for terminating a sponsorship deal. In 2007, Etihad Aldar signed a 3-year deal with the Silverstone-based squad, racing under the name Spyker at that point, but terminated the deal to move to Ferrari in 2008. The company now has to pay a huge fine for wrongully terminating the contract.
