Massa knows which teams to be cautious of in 2010
Ferrari's Felipe Massa has pointed out the most obvious rivals for the 2010 championships, with McLaren, Red Bull, and Mercedes as the most obvious contenders. As it has been for some time now the McLaren squad is expected to be competitive, while Red Bull have yet to show their full potential and Mercedes GP (formerly Brawn GP) are expected to defend their 2009 championships.
When asked by Italy's 'La Repubblica' which teams he is afraid of the most for the 2010 season, Massa responded, "McLaren and Red Bull are the two I expect most from. But the old Brawn team can do very well as well - it's the team which won the championship and now that it's been acquired by Mercedes it can become a top level team, able to reassert itself year after year."
"The British teams are very strong and with Hamilton and Button they have a truly competitive team," he added, "Red Bull was the best team in the second half of the last championship."
