Drivers not eager to do qualifying in wet conditions
After the FIA announced to postpone qualifying for the Japanese GP by half an hour, several drivers put in their view as to why racing or qualifying would be possible or not. Neither of the people voicing their thoughts were very optimistic about the track safety.
Timo Glock, one of two guys to have set a timed lap in the morning's FP3 said "Already this morning it was just impossible to drive. There are too many wet patches around the track".
Jarno Trulli on the other hand was even more clear. After being asked about what is shame it was to not being able to go out, he said "the only chance for us here to come out in the situation is to crash the car".
10 minutes ahead of the revised starting time, a further 30 minutes delay was announced.
