Randstad increases commitment to Williams
Williams F1 is delighted to confirm that Randstad has upgraded its partnership with the AT&T Williams team. Founded in 1960, Randstad is a global leader in the provision of flexible recruitment and HR services.
Operating in 43 countries, Randstad employs 27,500 people in a global network of 4,200 offices. Through their business insight, market knowledge and a portfolio of highly-specialised brands, Randstad is delivers an unparalleled offering across all job levels and functions, in all industry sectors. The company’s mission is to take the lead in shaping the world of work, leveraging the true value of human capital.
Since the start of their partnership with Williams in 2006, Randstad branding has traditionally been positioned on the cockpit surrounds, pitcrew and team clothing. The upgraded package will see Randstad’s decals retain those positions while also featuring on the engine cover of the FW33 and on both drivers’ overalls.
Of the new agreement, Frank Williams, Team Principal of AT&T Williams said, “Randstad is a very important partner of ours and has contributed positively to the team over the past five seasons. Their philosophy that success comes from a dedicated workforce reflects our own and so we are delighted to be able to assist them in the communication of that message through Formula One. I welcome the news of their continued commitment to the team and look forward to more rewarding years of partnership.”
Frans Cornelis, Managing Director Group Marketing and Communications at Randstad, commented, “Sponsoring Williams F1 has delivered global brand visibility and been a success in terms of local activation by our operating companies when a race is held in their country. As we are one of the world’s leading recruiters for engineering, IT and technical professionals; that is another aspect that fits. We are happy that Randstad will feature even more prominently on the new car. We are looking forward to a great racing season!”
Today’s announcement follows a series of partnership renewals secured by the team ahead of the season opener in Melbourne, including confirmation of Oris’ upgrade, as well as a significant new partnership with Petroleos de Venezuela S.A (PDVSA) which was unveiled in January.
