Bridgestone to supply Super Aguri
Bridgestone and Super Aguri have today announced that they have agreed to join forces by running the Super Aguri cars with Bridgestone tyres. The agreement has an immediate effect and the Japanse team is expected to run a first shakedown during februari.
Hiroshi Yasukawa, Director of Bridgestone Motorsport commented: "The Super Aguri F1 team is a new but ambitious team and we are delighted that it has chosen Bridgestone to be its official supplier. Working with a new team that is making its debut in the FIA Formula One World Championship is an extremely exciting prospect."

The modified Arrows A23 chassis with which Super Aguri will start the season were also shod with Bridgestone tyres when the cars last appeared in a Grand Prix, still for the Arrows team. The teams expects to have its new car ready for the first european Grand Prix.
