Ecclestone hopes that Red Bull ascendancy will come to an end in 2013

Bernie Ecclestone has declared to the Italian newspaper 'Gazzetto dello Sport' that he hopes that the ascendancy of the Red Bull Racing F1 Team and Sebastian Vettel will come to a halt in the upcoming 2013 Formula One Championship. Over the past three seasons, Vettel and his team have claimed consecutive Drivers' and Constructors' crowns.
Ecclestone said: "I explained that Vettel is a true champion, but that he’s still young and can only improve in terms of being a character in the sport and in terms of his personality.
"As for Alonso, after 3 years of dominance by Red Bull it wouldn’t be too bad a thing if we were to have a change at the top of the sport, perhaps with Ferrari leading the way again."
