Wishing you a happy 2013
The entire F1technical team would like to wish you a prosperous and joyful 2013, including personal success and more racing action. After a year filled with 20 exciting Formula One races, next year promises to be even more interesting, with possibly closer competition than ever.
On the track, 2012 saw another disappointing season for Mercedes AMG, missed opportunities for McLaren Mercedes and the end of HRT, the Spanish F1 dream that never really took off. On the positive side, Sauber showed promise at several races, Fernando Alonso proved himself as an ever motivated Formula One racer and Adrian Newey confirmed he is and remains the best designer of Formula One cars we have known this decade.
F1's regulation stability into 2013 promises to make competition even closer, but with Pirelli changing its tyres yet again, the cars may be shuffled once more. In only 30 days, the first 2013 cars will be unveiled, and you will be able to follow all that on F1technical.
Hoping to give you an even better tool, we also invite you to spawn your ideas to improve this site in our forum. In essence, F1 never sleeps, and neither does this website!
