Focused on the present - Kubica
As third driver of the BMW Sauber F1 Team, Robert Kubica, will do a lot of testing for the team this year. In spite of being just 21-years old, the young gun exactly knows how he wants to achieve his goals.
"It's important to have a clear vision when waking up in the morning," reveals Robert, "But instead of thinking about the future, I focus on the present." Apart from that, a healthy dose of self-confidence is indispensable, according to the young Pole. "I think it's crucial to believe in yourself. If you want to make it in motor racing, you have to be convinced that you've got what is needed to deliver in fine style."
Robert can already look back on a successful career. At the age of six, the young gun started his career in karting, and four years later clinched the Polish Championship. In 2005 he won four 'Renault World Series' rounds to secure the title, thus impressing the motor racing world and was subsequently signed as BMW Sauber F1 Team test driver.
