FP3: Vettel top as Mercedes find some pace
Sebastian Vettel was once again the fastest man around the Hungaroring when FP3 came to an end. The 60 minutes of running saw Mercedes recover from their lack of performance on Friday whereas Red Bull Racing dropped down the pecking order.
Valtteri Bottas ended up a close second, leaving the second Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen behind him.
Both Mercedes drivers continued to have some trouble with their W09 cars, with both spinning off at Turn 6. On Friday, the team struggled with overheating tyres while today's FP3 saw Hamilton complain to his engineer about an ongoing lack of grip.
Red Bull may have been surprised by their own form too, especially on the back on their Friday claims that they're definitely in for a race-winning performance this weekend. This practice session may have been disappointing for them, with Ricciardo and Verstappen more than 6 tenths down on the pace setter, and curiously also with less laps completed.
The Renault duo was best of the rest in 7th and 8th, followed by Grosjean and Gasly.
