FIA confirms slight tweaks to the race start times
Formula One's governing body, the FIA has confirmed a tweak to the race start times, announcing that the Qatar Grand Prix will take place an hour earlier than planned.
Following the wild and chaotic race of Montreal, the F1 field heads to Barcelona for this weekend's Spanish Grand Prix. The Catalan race will kick off the European leg of the season and the triple-header of the Spanish, Austrian and British Grands Prix.
The second half of July will see Budapest stage the Hungarian Grand Prix before the Belgian Grand Prix takes place as the last round ahead of the summer break.
The Dutch Grand Prix will be the first round after the three-week break before the Monza brings the European leg of the season to a close.
The Azerbaijan Grand Prix received an unsuaul slot on the 2024 calendar as it takes place mid-September, followed by the Singapore Grand Prix.
The field will then head to the American continent where where the season's second triple header takes place: the US, the Mexico and the Brasil Grands Prix.
The Las Vegas race will round out the month of November before the Qatar and the Abu Dhabi Grands Prix bring the season to a close.
As far as the start times as concerned, the governing body has confirmed a tweak to the schedule. The Qatar Grand Prix was scheduled to kick off at 20:00 local time, but it will start an hour earlier. The change means the lights will go out at 19:00 local time, whilst its sprint race and qualifying will start as originally schedule.
There are no other changes to the start times of the remaining races.
