“I'm more at peace now,” claims Hamilton following his Africa trip
Having made a second trip through Africa during the summer break, seven-time F1 champion Lewis Hamilton has revealed that the experiences made him feel “more at peace now”.
Seven-time F1 world champion Lewis Hamilton had a busy time during the summer break. The Briton attended the Olympics in Paris to support one of his friends, posted a picture with Snoop Dogg.
Hamilton then travelled to Africa which marked his second trip to the continent after 2022. Two years ago, he visited several countries in Africa, including Namibia, Rwanda, Kenya, and Tanzania.
Reflecting on his latest trip to Africa, Hamilton shared his thoughts in an Instagram post: "I feel my ancestors with me now stronger than I ever have before."
"For a second year, I’m so fortunate to travel through Africa during the break. The first time around, I was overwhelmed by just how beautiful and healing this world can be, and this trip is no different."
"Just like last time, I’m feeling more and more re-centered and at peace as the days go by. Morocco was the first stop, words can’t describe the experience, hopefully the photos come close. Still so much to see and learn,” concluded Hamilton.
