As part of the ongoing partnership between Williams Racing and Gulf Oil, the British outfit has now announced that Alex Albon will be taking to the streets of São Paulo on 29th September 2024, running the FW45 in a show run at the upcoming Gulf Speed Festival.

In the run-up to the 2024 São Paulo Grand Prix, the Gulf Speed Festival celebrates Gulf Oil’s first anniversary of operations in Brazil. Williams and the American oil company agreed to a partnership last year, with the 2024 F1 season marking their second year together.

The ‘Bolder than Bold’ special livery chosen by fans in 2023 will adorn the FW45, following its previous runs in last year’s Singapore, Japanese and Qatar Grands Prix. Over 180,000 votes were cast in the livery selection process, which was designed to celebrate the spirit of two iconic motorsport brands.

The festival will also include exclusive content and immersive experiences for motorsport and music enthusiasts, such as F1 simulators, exciting brand activations, and performances from Brazilian musicians including the Brazilian duo Israel & Rodolffo and DJ Dubdogz.
