Ahead of his debut season with Formula One's sole American team Haas, one-time F1 race winner Esteban Ocon has completed his seat fit with the Kannapolis-based outfit.

Esteban Ocon was born and raised in Normandy to a working class family. The Frenchman began competitive kart racing aged nine, winning several national and international titles.

He graduated to junior formulae in 2012, and he won his first title in FIA Formula 3 in 2014 with Prema, beating the likes of Tom Blomqvist and Max Verstappen.

Ocon then joined the GP3 Series with ART in 2015, achieving 14 podiums in 18 races. The same year saw Ocon become a member of the Mercedes Junior Team.

The Frenchman made his Formula One debut at the 2016 Belgian Grand Prix with Manor, replacing Rio Haryanto for the remainder of the 2016 season. He moved to Force India—who later became Racing Point—in 2017, partnering Sergio Pérez. After two seasons, Ocon left Racing Point at the end of 2018, becoming a reserve driver for Mercedes in 2019.

Ocon returned as a full-time driver with Renault in 2020, taking his maiden podium finish at the Sakhir Grand Prix. Retaining his seat for 2021, Ocon partnered Fernando Alonso at the re-branded Alpine, taking his maiden victory at the Hungarian Grand Prix.

The Frenchman stayed with Alpine for the following three seasons, achieving his maiden fastest lap in the United States, followed by a fourth career podium at the rain-affected São Paulo Grand Prix. He left Alpine after the Qatar Grand Prix - one race earlier than the season-closing Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. He will now move to Haas for 2025 alongside Oliver Bearman.

Sharing a photo on his social media accounts, Ocon has now revealed that he has completed the necessary seat fit in his new car.
