Schumacher grabs pole

As the first race of the European season, Imola immediately shows a different grid than what was seen during the first races in 2006. Michael Schumacher got on pole, in front of Button, Barrichello and Massa. Fernando Alonso in 5th therefore sees both Ferrari and Honda cars in front of him. Fisico on the other hand only managed to qualify 12th, even though his cars sports an improved Renault engine.
