The 2025 season has brought a fresh change for the Faenza-based F1 outfit as they unveiled a new name and a new all-white livery. F1Technical's senior writer Balazs Szabo takes a look at Racing Bulls' liveries from the past years.

The Faenza-based team traces its roots to Minardi, which competed in Formula One from 1985 to 2005. Having entered the sport with the Red Bull team, the energy drink company bought Minardi at the end of the 2005 season and lined up on the grid as Toro Rosso.

The Italian team competed under the Toro Rosso moniker from 2006 to 2019, and recorded its biggest success when Sebastian Vettel clinched the outfit's first victory at the 2008 Italian Grand Prix.

For the 2020 Formula One World Championship, Toro Rosso was rebranded to "AlphaTauri" in order to promote Red Bull's AlphaTauri fashion brand. Back then, former team boss Franz Tost and Red Bull's motorsport advisor Dr Helmut Marko emphasized that the rebrand to Scuderia AlphaTauri was also an acknowledgment that it had transitioned from Red Bull Racing's junior team to its sister team.

The team was rebranded last year again, changing its name to Visa Cash App RB F1 Team. However, the new name was widely criticised by fans and the media. The team reacted to the criticism, and entered the current season as Racing Bulls.

Taking a look at the past liveries of the Italian team, the Faenza-based squad started off in 2020 with an all-new livery, having unveiled a deep blue and white colour scheme for their new car which they carried through in the following four season during which they run under the AlphaTauri moniker.

Red Bull's sister team then switched its name to Visa Cash RB for last season, and brought a different livery. While the colour scheme adopted a blue and white livery, not so dissimilar from the previous seasons, it incorporated vibrant blue and white with a silver bull on the top.

However, the team changed its name for the current season again, rebranding itself as Racing Bulls. Alongside its change of name, the team also presented a new look. Its livery is largely white with prominent Red Bull branding in addition to the two title sponsors it introduced last year.
