112 laps for fast Barrichello
Rubens Barrichello joined the Honda Racing F1 Team in Vallelunga in Italy on Thursday morning for the third and final day of the team’s current test. Rubens completed some early acclimatisation runs in chassis RA106-02 before working through an aero evaluation, alongside chassis set-up work, completing 51 laps during the morning session. He continued the chassis programme in the afternoon, completing a further 61 laps for a total of 112 laps in the day.
Jenson Button continued his Monaco Grand Prix preparation in chassis RA106-06 during the morning session as he also ran through a chassis set-up programme completing 57 laps. Jenson then spent the afternoon running through a comprehensive tyre programme, completing a further 90 laps, to take his total for the day to 147 laps.
